A TYPICAL HYPNOTHERAPY SESSION

 

Tailored Sessions:

Every session is unique for the individual client and their needs, but there are general stages I tend to follow for most sessions. 

Initial Consultation:

When you come to see me we would spend some time talking about what it is you want to change in your life, what you have tried so far, and why you think it may not have worked. During this initial consultation I would be looking for self limiting beliefs and emotional hot spots. These are what we will need to work on to help you move forward. 

Hypnosis:

I will relax you, just so that it’s easier for us to do the work. Whilst in this relaxed, hypnotic state you will be able to speak to me and you will be in control at all times. I have been trained in 33 different techniques that I could use here so what we do next really depends on what is required. Once we have done the Analytical Therapy and you have formed new beliefs to support your desired outcome, I will usually do some Suggestion Therapy based on our discussion earlier.  Just to reinforce those new beliefs and help you move forward.

End of Session:

I’ll then bring you out of trance and that will be the end of your first session. For some people one or two sessions will be enough, but for others it’s possible you may need more. If so, I do a reduction for block bookings if that is something you would be interested in. 

Many people say they feel ‘lighter’ after Hypnotherapy. It can certainly have a profound effect in a very short space of time.
